How We Do It The errants (maximum 16) 18 years and older, will come to Karat Place directly from the correctional facility (SCDC or Jail East or West TN) upon release.
Karat Place, Inc. pr0vides an up to two year three phase program in a transitional-living environment. “Homeless” is defined as those who cannot return or choose not to return home after they are released. Pre-release referral through the chaplain, counselor, program administrator or parole officer is necessary.
